BFC has been organizing free adoption events for quite some time.  It is quite frustrating that a rescued dog finally finds a home and is returned because of some bad behaviors.  BFC feels the importance of dog training and the lack of such training classes in general around Shanghai.  Hence we are going to start dog training classes to train more volunteers to help with easy tips with dogs.  Hopefully we can help reduce the numbers of dogs being abandoned due to bad behavior.

We are very grateful to hav an American trainer Meg volunteering her time to help with animal cause here in Shanghai.  She has been helping an animal rescue group in Rochester New York to train big rescued dogs with aggressive behavior to get back into a family.

First session: April 8, 2014.  (Tuesday) from 10am to 11.30am.

Location:  Putuo district, Zhong yuan liang wan cheng （中远两湾城）， in the compound garden right next to Suzhou river.  Subway line 3 and 4 Zhong Tan road station.

Please RSVP, limited enrollment for 3-5 dogs and less than 10 persons.   To enroll, please write to BestFriendsChina@hotmail.com with your contact info, your dog''s size and any behavior problems that need to be corrected. The first session will be mainly a general one with  games and tips that you can play with your pet.
