I came across her when I was on the way to work at a cold, rainy morning in early Nov. 2016, she was tiny and wet all covered by mud, she barely walked and half soaked in a dirty pool of water at the side of road, there was no sign of her mum. I picked her up she was shaking and could easily feel her heart beating. I could not bear to think to leave her like that but I was in a hurry to work. Therefore, I took her to somewhere safe and dry and away from the street, spoke to her that if she could survive till I back from work I would have her. It did not actually occur to me that I could find her later, she could be taken, could even be dead by then, given the condition of her and being exposed to low temperature for too long. I still do not know how but this little tough thing miraculously survived and stayed where I put her till I went back to look for her. That time I had chance to study her carefully, she was pretty one, one eye blue and yellow another, white but a “V” shape black mark right on her head, however, I realized that her tail and bottom were badly infected and that might be the reason her mum gave up on her and left on her own device. I thought she was going to die but I decided to take her to vet anyway, too much to bear by thinking of her courage to survive and waited me to come back, she deserved something better even she might need to be put into sleep at vet, it was better than dying in a cold street alone. In the vet, she demonstrated her will to live in every possible way, she ate like a little tiger and no fussy at all, did not like any kitten in her age. After discussion with vet, we decided to help her and give her a little surgery, cut the wound open and remove the bad bit, clean up the rest. To be honest, apart from skin and bone, not much got left on her tail and her bottom literally looked like just was destroyed by an atomic bomb. Still, no one would put money on her survival. The following weeks, she was making a good progress and becoming healthier and happier, started behaving like a kitten. But it was close to Christmas, I had to go for my holiday, therefore, one of my friends volunteered to look after her in my absence. By the time I came back, she fully recovered and my friend grew very fond of her and decided to take her on and provide her a warm home. I thought that was a happy ending, but my friend’s family always wanted a dog, I consider myself as dog person as well, I never had a cat before this one, I thought cats were different, but when I had her I realized that cats were literally from different planet, the word different is absolutely understatement for things about cats and dogs in comparison. Therefore, I totally understood my friend and took her back. She is growing fast and I started worrying that the longer she stays with me the harder for her to move on to her true happiness. Because I am impatient, very aggressive, too busy, leaving her on her own device and neglecting her all the time, PLEASE RESCUE HER FROM ME ASAP. SO! Please! Please! Please! Please rescue her from me!
